Worry Got Me like…: Crushing Worry For 2,000 Years

What a difference 2 months can make. In early 2020, our nation was experiencing the hottest job market in 50 years, and an economy that seemed invincible. The good folks of our country were planning summer vacations, high-school and college graduations and no one was thinking about a pandemic.
Today is a much different story. We are seeing so many things in our world that brought us comfort, disappear. Sports, long lunches with friends at restaurants, movies, even gathering as the Church collectively, gone. But Jesus is still here. He will not forget you, He will not fail you. Listen, For those of you in Christ. Tell Him every fear and share your circumstances that cause you worry and anxiety. He loves you and cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
Be encouraged Christ follower, Jesus is with you.
This battle of worry, fear and anxiety is real. Don’t let it stay in your mind. You will always degenerate to the worst case scenario. Cast your cares on Jesus. He loves you. He cares for you. Don’t keep rehashing the worry in your mind. If this is you, right now, stop. Cry out to Him. Pray to Him, Sing to Him. His peace will rush over you. Then in five minutes if worry hits you like a tsunami, stop and repeat.
My friends, we will get through this, and Jesus will be right there by you.
