The Battle For Your Mind: You Are Who He Says You Are

Satan is a liar!  His mission in life is to tear you down, to stop your forward progress, to destroy and ruin your life.  You are in a battle, and this war begins in your mind.  These past months with the entire country sheltering in place, isolated from the community of believers that encourage us.  We have given the enemy a powerful entry into our defenses.  You see, isolation kills, but community conquers.  We need one another.  This is the foremost reason we must meet as the collective church.  To encourage one another.
Have you noticed the negative thoughts creeping in more often?  Are these mental lies taking a greater toll than ever before?  Friend, this is the battle.  But for the Christian, you have an even greater weapon.  The Word.  I want to give you some biblical truths to memorize and run through your mind when the assaults from the enemy comes.  I want to weaponize the scripture for your use against the only method of attack the enemy has against the believer.  His lies!
The enemy barrages me with…
My Identity:
I am a child of God.  (John 1:12)
I am a friend of Jesus Christ.  (John 15:15)
I have been forgiven.  (Romans 5:1)
I have been bought with a price and I belong to Jesus.  (1 Cor. 6:19-20)
I am a member of Christ's body.  (1 Cor 12:27)
I have been chosen by God and adopted as His.  (Ephesians 1:3-8)
I have been redeemed and my past has been wiped clean.  (Colossians 1:13-14)
I am complete in Christ.  (Colossians 2:9-10)
I have direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ.  (Hebrews 4:14-16)

My Salvation:
I am free from condemnation.  (Romans 8:1-2)
I am assured that Jesus is at work, for my good in all circumstances. (Romans 8:28)
I cannot be separated from the love of God.  (Romans 8:31-39)
I have been sealed by the Holy Spirit of God.  (2 Cor 1:21-22)

My Value:
I am a minister of reconciliation (2 Cor 5:17-21)
I am God’s workmanship.  (Ephesians 2:10)
I am loved.  (Romans 5:8)
You can win, you will win the battle of the mind when you replace negative, and destructive thoughts with truth.  God’s truth as given to us in the scriptures are the weapon you need to take every thought captive. Never forget, you aren’t who you think you are, you aren’t who others say you are, you are who Jesus says you are.
Praying this for you,
Please silence any voices that attempt to tell us otherwise.
In Jesus Name.
