You Are What You Eat: Taking Back Your Mental and Spiritual Health in 5 Easy Steps

Hardly a day goes by I don’t get a call, or text regarding how stressed, worried, and even scared someone is regarding the events of the day. Truth be told, we all have felt these emotions, they are part of being human. So…how do we handle these as a Christian? Great question, allow me to preface it with the old adage you are what you eat. But did you know you are also what you watch, read and listen to?
Part of the problem is the constant barrage of negative news through 24 hour news channels, internet, and social media. We are constantly being beat down by negativity with very little break. This is a recipe for disaster. In today’s blog I want to give you five fixes that you can do now to take back control of your mental and spiritual health.
As you limit the negativity in your life, allow the Creator to speak, saturate yourself in Biblical truth through music, talk to Christ and practice a grateful heart you will reap the fruit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, meekness and self-control.
