Chris Williams joined the Fellowship staff team in March of 2014. Since the inception of his ministry, Chris’ main focus has been on helping every person discover they were created on purpose and for a great purpose. Namely, having a relationship with their Creator through faith in Jesus Christ. His desire is to help men and women, boys and girls engage with God’s purposes and to live the life they were redeemed to live. A life that lives for the good of others, the glory of Christ and the salvation of all.

Growing up in a Christian home and attending church regularly, it wasn’t until a young man stopped by and invited Chris and his siblings to ride the church bus that Chris’s attention to the importance of church began to grow. It was the church bus experience that made attending fun and Chris became more interested in the things of God. In the winter of 1986 the church had a five-night revival, it was on Thursday night that Chris trusted Christ as his Savior and was baptized the very next Sunday.

Prior to joining the Fellowship team in 2014, Chris served on the pastoral staff of Lenexa Baptist Church. He has a passion for evangelism that was stoked over nearly a decade of traveling coast to coast holding evangelistic shared family experiences in 750 churches to nearly 800,000 kids and parents witnessing God transform lives on a daily basis. His earliest ministry experience was built by serving on staff at two growing and healthy churches in the Kansas City metro area.

Chris has earned a Bachelor of Theology from Trinity Bible College, a Master of Science in Christian Studies, a Masters of Divinity both from Calvary Theological Seminary, and is a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching candidate at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Chris and Kate were married in 2005 and have five boys, Max, Cooper, Jack, Judson, and Lincoln.
