At The Fellowship, we have endeavored to take seriously Jesus’ commands to love God and to love our neighbors, by living for the good of the community, the glory of God, and the salvation of all. To that end we have partnered strategically with local ministries, and international agencies to take the Gospel across the street and around the world. It would be a privilege to have you join us as a volunteer with one of our many outreach events, at one of our local ministry partners, or on an international mission trip. Will you join the movement to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth? Lock arms with us by praying, giving and going?
Never been on an international mission trip? Been on one but didn’t have the experience you were hoping for because the ministry didn’t fit your giftedness? Want to go, but not quite sure what kind of mission trip suits you best? These trips are for you! Excitement trips are designed to help you identify what type of trip would allow you to best fulfill the Great Commission in the way that God has designed you, and build your enthusiasm for global missions. As we partner with the International Mission Board and Americas Connect, you will be exposed to the process the IMB uses to advance the Gospel around the world. You will be introduced to various ways of doing ministry, as well as the training needed to duplicate these types of ministries in different cultural contexts.
Mission Experienced trips are for those that have been on an international trip and have identified the specific type of ministry in which they would like to participate. Much of the ministry work that is done is in rural areas. You will experience a variety of foods, and need to be flexible in the type of accommodations offered. These trips can include teacher training, vacation Bible school, discipleship classes and evangelism. There is also opportunity for physical activities like prayer walking, light construction work, painting, cleaning, and playing with school-age children.
As a church body we endeavor to live for the good of the community, for the glory of Christ and the salvation of souls. One of the ways we fulfill this mission is to partner with organizations that allow us to move forward on our vision in one, two or all three areas of the mission, For Good, For His Glory, and For Salvation of all. Missions 101 is a class designed to better prepare you to go to the Nations and share the Gospel. With tips and tricks, and an understanding of expectations, you will leave ready for your upcoming missions trip. By taking this class you can also receive a discount on your selected Go 2 Bless trip. This class applies to all mission trips.
