Midweek Discipleship

Isolation Kills, But Community Conquers

Kids and Youth

Raising Kids to know, love, and serve Jesus all their life is one of our top priorities at The Fellowship. The Midweek experience is a vital part of that discipleship process. In our Kids ministry we are seeking to build a solid foundation through the study and memorization of God’s Word. With our students, we want to build on that foundation a faith that is lived out and impactful in our culture.

Biblical Beliefs Coed Study  – What was it that lead to the early church’s success? Early Christians overcame persecution to become the most dominant religious force the world has ever known. Their fundamental faith commitments supported a manner of life that linked beliefs and behavior, or doctrine and practice. The Apostle Paul warned that deceptions are a significant danger to Christians. Truth, then, becomes essential for living in perilous times. Table of Contents: The Authority of Scripture, The Godhead, Creation and the Fall, The Person and Work of Christ, The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit, The Doctrine of Salvation, Spirituality, The Church: Origin and Identity, The Church: Mission and Ministry, Angels and Demons, Heaven and Hell, The Coming Kingdom – Part 1 will be 5 weeks starting Sept 4. Abide – How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In these three short letters, the apostle John reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us as well. In this study of 1, 2, and 3 John, Jen Wilkin will help you discover how 2,000 years later, the apostle John’s words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. 11weeks – Bring highlighter.

BetterMan Defined: Manhood God’s Way by God’s Design teaches men how to courageously follow God’s Word by showing them what it means to be God’s man. Though the expressions of manhood change, the principles of manhood never change. They can’t. They are God-designed and God-ordained. During this 5-week study, we’ll conclude each evening by taking the principles of what we just discussed and reading through a portion of 1 John to study how to apply the Scriptures to our walk as men.
