December 22 | THREE DAYS TO CHRISTMAS

Life Has a Way of Getting Complicated

Life rarely looks like the picture on the box.

You start with good intentions—clear plans, high hopes. You follow the instructions as best you can. But somewhere along the way, things don’t line up the way you expected.

Relationships get messy.
Expectations clash.
Instructions feel unclear.

And suddenly, what should’ve been simple feels overwhelming.

This Isn’t New—It’s Human

That experience isn’t unusual.
It’s human.

The Bible never pretends life is neat or predictable. From the very beginning, it shows us that brokenness entered the world—and once it did, everything became harder than it was meant to be. Work became heavy. Relationships became strained. Hope became fragile.

Scripture doesn’t sanitize reality. It tells the truth about it.

A God Who Steps Into the Mess

And yet—this is where hope begins.

Jesus didn’t walk away from the mess.
He stepped toward it.

Christmas isn’t about pretending life is simple or pain doesn’t exist. It’s about trusting a God who enters the complicated, who moves toward broken people in a broken world, and who brings light into places we thought were beyond repair.

Christmas doesn’t deny reality.
It redeems it.

More tomorrow.
